This is a filet crochet pattern with the image built into a graph/chart from which you make the runner, a Row by Row file and a Color Blocks file

To make this pattern I used:

Size G/4.0mm crochet hook or
Approximately 800 yards of Bravissimo yarn.
Scissors
Yarn needle

This pattern is written using US/UK and ITALIAN crochet terms. You must have an understanding of the basic crochet stitches.
