Hello! This is a crochet pattern for all of my fellow therians out there! I understand that when you are a kid, trying to ask for therian gear can be something that not everyone wants to do because they don't want their parents to find out about the "different" experiences they have. I hope this helps anyone whos Theriotype is a cat and that can't ask for an actual tail, so you can make it!

I plan to also make more Therian gear in the future, such as paw hand warmers and ear headbands.

A couple notes before you begin this pattern!:

This is an intermediate pattern, because it requires a lot of color changes. A beginner can still do it however, because for the most part it is an easy pattern and the only difficulty would be with the many color changes.

I would like to make more patterns like these in the future, like a fox and a wolf tail. These patterns do take time however, because there are a lot of gimmicks that need to be worked out so be patient with me if I decide to make more at some point!

This pattern is highly customizable. As you can see in the photos, I have made this pattern to fit closely to my personal theriotype, which is a pantanal cat. This tail can be modified in any way and here are a couple examples:
- You could stick to one color and just make a solid colored tail
- You could skip out on the color changes and make it only have a long black stripe if you wanted to
- You could make your tail entirely out of dots
- You could also change the length of the tail and add more or less rows depending on how long or short you want your tail to be.
- Other customization options are (but definitely not limited to): Changing up the coat pattern for the tail all together, adding yarn with a latch hook and then brushing it out to make fur.
