4Ply Worsted Weight Machine Washable & Dryable

Color SkyBlue 223 1 Skein

I used an H - 5.00 hook

Stitches used-

Back loop- Insert the hook in the last stitch of the previous row under the back loop of the stitch. Catch the yarn and pull it back through the two loops. Insert your hook in the following stitch of the previous row under the back loop of the stitch. Repeat the process inserting the hook in the following stitches of the previous row under the back loop of the stitch.

Half Double Crochet - Yarn over the hook and insert the hook in the last stitch of the previous row under the top two loops. Catch the yarn. Pull the yarn back through the loop. You should have three loops on your hook. Yarn over the hook and draw your yarn through all three loops on the hook. Repeat the process inserting the hook in the following stitches of the previous row under the top two loops.

Herringbone Half Double Crochet -15 minutes this is not a very complicated stitch but you have to remember to pull up the loop through the first loop.

Whereas with the regular half double crochet stitch you pull up a loop and yarn over before you pull up that loop through all 3 loops on your hook

Cross Stitch- skip one stitch and make a double crochet in the third stitch of the previous row. Next, you will make a double crochet working in the previous stitch that you have just skipped. So, yarn over. Insert your hook in the previous stitch and yarn over. Pull the yarn through. Now you have three loops on your hook. Make sure that the loop that you have just made is slightly longer than usual. Yarn over. Pull the yarn through the first two loops on your hook. Now you have two loops on your hook. Yarn over. Pull the yarn through both loops on your hook. You have just made a cross-stitch double crochet!
