This pattern is for an oversized rectangular shawl, measuring approximately 94" x 16" (blocked) for a multilayer wrap. The 2-row repeat lace pattern becomes intuitive quickly and offers a great opportunity for crocheters new to lace.

The sample is made with one 200g skein of high quality acrylic yarn by James C Brett, from the Marble Chunky line. I highly recommend these yarns, though you can achieve this pattern with any yarn. Simply match hook size to the smaller label recommendation.
