This lovely textured headband and cowl set looks like shimmering mermaid scales when worked in a yarn with gradual color changes, but the post stitches make it pop even with a solid yarn! Made with bulky weight yarn, these accessories work up quickly. The cowl is designed to stand up over the collar of your coat to keep you warm even on windy days.

Level: Intermediate. In addition to sc, hdc, and dc, this pattern uses fpdc2tog and fptr.
