Description
Hello! Thanks so much for getting this pattern, which includes my 5 fave tarot card designs (the fool, the high priestess, the empress, the hermit & the hanged man). Includes right-handed and left-handed instructions and charts.

All the patches are 25sc x 50 rows, and 5 inches x 10 inches using DK/light worsted-weight yarn. You can create the colorwork designs by themselves and use them as fun patches for patchwork projects, like a patchwork cardi or bag, or you can add the optional border and name tag around the patches and hang them as wall decor!

This pattern is also compatible with my other patchwork sweater/cardi patterns which include made-to-measure instructions on how to use patches to create a sweater or cardi ( check out my Choose-your-own-patchwork Cardi/Sweater and Yo-ho-ho Patchwork Sweater patterns if you're interested!).

The pattern uses a number of more intermediate-level crochet techniques, such as colorwork, and optional embroidery on top of patches to create the names of the tarot cards. However, the pattern is detailed enough that I believe an advanced beginner should be able to follow it with minimal struggle.

I really hope you have fun crafting these patches, and that you enjoy the pattern! If you post your projects based on the pattern on Instagram, feel free to tag me (@rollingyarncrochet), I'd love to see what people make! :)

**Please note that this pattern is meant for personal use only and is the property of Rolling Yarn. Please do not share, rename, distribute or resell the pattern. If you'd like to make a video (on Youtube, Tiktok, etc.) showing your progress, that is allowed, provided no detailed steps are shown in the video. If you would like to sell finished products you make following this pattern, that is also allowed (if you are a small business), but please support and respect small and independent designers by asking for permission (you can drop me a message via my Ribblr, or on my Instagram @rollingyarncrochet) and by crediting Rolling Yarn as the designer, and tagging my Instagram when you credit. Thank you!

Materials
Yarns
You will need at most 100 meters of DK/light worsted-weight yarn for each of the patches (this is an overestimation that takes into account enough yarn for tail ends for a secure weaving). The number of colors will depend on which patches you end up making and how many.

Brands used: I used a combination of Paintbox yarns Simply DK (276m, 100g per skein) and Cotton DK (125m, 50g per skein).
Hooks
2.5mm crochet hook.
I recommend you use a size down for a tight stitch.
Tools
A yarn needle to weave in ends. Scissors. FOR EMBROIDERING THE TAROT NUMBER AND NAME (OPTIONAL):

- An embroidery needle.

- Embroidery floss in black (dmc code: black, 310) and light grey (dmc code: silver grey, 168).
