We all need a light in the night. May this little firefly bring it to you!
I recommend an intermediate level to make it (or a motivated beginner who will take the time to learn the new steps for it ). It is designed to have very few seams to do (just the wings).

Work in a spiral, use a thread about 15 cm long to mark the rounds (or a stitch marker).
All stitches are worked in both strands of the stitch, unless otherwise indicated.
The head and body are crocheted at once.

I recommend reading the entire pattern first to understand how it is made before starting.
If you want to give this firefly to a small child, I recommend replacing the safety eyes with embroidered eyes.
