The Lucca slipover is a simple and timeless slipover and it is a perfect addition to the base wardrobe. The slipover is worked from the top down on 7 mm needles. The ribbed edges are made on 6,5 mm needles. The construction of the slipover is simple and does not contain any complicated techniques.

Pattern overview
The back piece is made first. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulders. These are worked separately before they are connected and worked back and forth. Afterwards, the front piece and the back piece are connected and the rest of the body is worked in the round and finished with ribbing at the bottom of the slipover. Ribbing is also added to the armholes and the neckline. All ribbed edges are bound off with an Italian bind off.
