Crochet pattern for a textured blanket

This pattern, lovingly named 'Hopes and Wishes,' carries a story of its own. Originally intended as my debut pattern, it took a little detour as I ventured into other creative projects and ideas. Two more patterns emerged before I returned to complete this one, hence its name. 'Hopes and Wishes' represents not only my aspiration but also the hope and wish that you find joy in creating it.
Crafted and meticulously designed to ensure a seamless experience. Please note that the beginning chains (CH1/CH2) of each row do not count as stitches, unless otherwise indicated. When changing colors, follow this preferred method, ensuring that you complete the last part of a stitch before transitioning with the new color. Personally, I find it convenient to work over the starting and finishing ends for approximately 5-6 stitches before snipping the yarn, eliminating the need to weave them in later.
The pattern is thoughtfully divided into 'SECTIONS,' allowing you to easily follow instructions and create beautiful color transitions. For this project, I used HOBBII TWISTER SOLID yarn, a delightful blend of 55% cotton and 45% acrylic. However, feel free to select the yarn that resonates with your creative vision.
The final dimensions of the blanket should measure around 75x95cm, assuming you've used the recommended hook size and type of yarn. If you wish to adjust the width of the blanket, simply start with any even number of chains, and every row will have an odd number of stitches.
