Description
INTRODUCTION:

Meet Bailey the Giant Bunny! She is the fifth addition to the Giant Pillow Plushies series. Some of Bailey's favorite things include daffodils, Easter egg hunts, and chasing after butterflies. Her favorite snack to munch on are dandelions which grow in plentitude around the cozy meadow where she spends her days.

NOTES:
*Please do not copy/redistribute any part of this pattern as your own. This includes reposting/translating without permission. Feel free to sell your finished products in small quantities as long as you give credit to help support my work. Tag your creations with #curiouspapaya so I can feature you!

*We will be working in a spiral.

*Measurements: 14 in. x 13 in. [35.56 cm x 33.02 cm] if using the prescribed materials and the "YUYO" method of crocheting (yarn under, yarn over) to create x-shaped stitches.

*This is an intermediate-beginner level pattern due to working in an oval spiral with this specific type of yarn.

*Please free to email me at curiouspapaya@gmail.com with any questions you might have about this pattern and I will assist you the best I can.

TIPS:

-Ex. of how to read the pattern - "Rnd 3: (10 sc, [sc, inc] x 3) x 2 [38]" = 10 sc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc. Then you will repeat another 10 sc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc.

-Use stitch markers to keep track of the beginning of each round (especially important since this fuzzy chenille yarn can make it difficult to see!)

-Use sewing pins to position parts on evenly.

-Fluff up your stuffing by pulling it apart and inserting it little by little to make your amigurumi more even. Stuff it some more right before closing using the tips of your scissors (for small spaces) for a firmer shape.

-Note that my jumbo patterns do not transfer to thinner yarn weights well. The dimensions will be off!

-Please note that when you cut this specific type of chenille yarn, experiencing some loose fibers is normal. You can carefully burn the yarn tails with a lighter if you'd like.

-If you are experiencing breakage when trying to pull your magic circle closed, create the starting ring with the alternative method of: ch 2, make 6 (or 8) sc into the second ch from the hook.

-When working in a spiral, it's normal for each rnd to stagger (and for your start of the rnd to slightly rotate). To avoid having your oval begin to turn (resulting in a lopsided butt), add or undo a few sc to align the start of rnd 24 (where the decreases begin) with where rnd 6 begins. See img 1 on the next page.
