Gauge doesn't matter- my gauge came out to 12 rows X 6 Wattle sts wide = 4" X 4" with a 6.00 mm crochet hook

You can also double the stitches of the width and continue the pattern as long as you want to make a full-size blanket.

This pattern uses tr7tog, so be sure you are comfortable with more advanced bobble sts. These create beautiful texture, but they can be tricky!
