The Augusta top is a light summer top, worked from the top down in one strand of Drops Belle. The front consists of two triangles that overlap each other. The top is tied at the neck with two i-cord straps when worn. The top of the back and the bottom of the top are worked in ribbing.

The top is designed so that you make the front piece according to the size that fits your bust measurement and the body according to the size that fits your waist measurement. This way, you can make a top that fits you perfectly.

Pattern overview
The Augusta top is worked from the top down. First, the two front pieces are made, starting with the strap, and then the rest of the front piece is worked in continuation of the i-cord string.
Next, the two front pieces are joined where they overlap, and stitches are cast on in continuation for the back. The top of the back is worked in ribbing, and the rest of the top is worked in stockinette stitch before you make the ribbing at the bottom of the top.
