This is the part where I write a few adorable paragraphs about how amazing your life will be when you have access to the world of ultra-cute bobble stitch ear cozies that will use any kind of yarn.

To be honest, I hope that your life is so great already that it's not significantly improved by a head-hugger. Like, I hope your ears aren't freezing each day and this is the only possible way you have to keep the frost bite at bay.

That being said, I do think this little project is pretty great & worth taking on for a variety of reasons. Even if your ears are currently at a reasonable temperature.

Functional. - My favorite things to create are beautiful, functional items. Functional Fiber Art" if you will. These ear warmers are a great example because they are weird, whimsical, and they DO SOMETHING! How cool is that?

Scrappy. - They are fanTESStic scrap-busting projects! You can use any kind of yarn to stitch them up. I've even got ways to sneak in short little leftover yards so nothing goes to waste!

Adjustable. - Super easy to edit. I provide additional instruction so you can easily make these headbands larger, smaller, wider or thinner to suit specific head sizes. Thats not all of it either. Do you really like this design and want to expand it into a cowl to keep your neck & nose warm too? Go for it. Leg warmers to wear with leggings or boots? Absolutely.
Ill tell ya how at the end!

Does that sound awesome? Ready to get started?

Yarns
Any Yarn. I suggest worsted weight or thicker. Thinner yarns can be doubled or tripled.

I used a 5.5mm hook for mine. Use whatever feels comfortable with your yarn choices and allows for a solid tension with minimal holes.
Needles
Yarn Needle that will fit your yarn choices.
Notions
Stitch Marker *Optional*. I suggest a bobby pin.
Tools
Measuring Tape *Optional*. Can also measure the project on yourself as you make it.
