I'm not sure what the pink yarn was because it was in a scrap stash someone gifted me that didn't have its wrapper. Works up quickly, and in lieu of sewing on the star, I just left the 2 ends of the yarn and tied them into a bow to allow for easy removal if I just wanted the bag itself, and then it's just as easy to tie it back on.
