I think I pulled back a few too many stitches when I realized I'd made a mistake and tried to back track a few rows, which shifted the placement of the black patch on the head, but beyond that I didn't notice any impact. I used chenille yarn with a 4.0 mm hook. (Next time I want to try acrylic with maybe a 3.5 mm to see how they compare.) I chained 50 for the ghost strap because I thought I'd need more clearance to get it over the cow's head, but I think 40 chains would've been fine (I have a clip in the back to help pull up the strap a bit since I made it a little long). This could be fun to do Halloween colors on the cow (maybe orange or purple instead of white) and possibly even use glow in the dark on the ghost.
